Requirements
How to host an intern
Firm partners wishing to host an intern must be fee-only or fee-based with a focus on comprehensive financial planning, investment management or wealth management services. Firm partners must also agree to:
- Pay interns at least $20 per hour
- Provide interns with 20–40 hours of work per week
- Host interns for at least 8–12 weeks
- Be open to accepting virtual interns

For firms hosting more than 5 interns, we ask for $2,500 per additional intern.
